Vintage Additions to My Collection

Mom has been in a cleaning out mood lately.  Now I have received these pieces a couple of which are older than me and that is older than dirt because she received them as wedding gifts.  That is well over half a century ago if you are wondering.

This is a typical 50's serving tray made out of aluminium.  The name on the back was Kensington.

This platter went with a set of dishes and is not quite as old.  It is a nice piece for serving meat.  I have used it to serve a pot roast and vegetables.

Mom used to use this cut glass piece to serve celery stalks stuffed with cream cheese and green olives with pimentos.  It is rather large and good for appetizers.
