Today she got up and cut off her bandages then took a shower and got dressed - all alone! She had promised to wait for me to get there and decided she would do it herself. I can't believe how strong she is for 80.
So needless to say she is doing better. She is going to just have bandages on her thumbs today and let the air get to the other smaller wounds.
Mister T had a restless night and is still bleeding from his wounds. I had to put a collar on him so he could not lick his wounds which he is less than thrilled about. He had a hard time taking his meds and I guess I am going to have to be more of an alfa or pack leader. My heart is touched so much it is hard to be forceful.
I will keep reporting in and send my heartfelt thanks to those of you who are praying and sending well wishes. It means a lot to Mister T, Mom and I.

Oh, wow... what an amazing woman your mother is! I'm at a loss for words!
I'll be praying for Mister T and your mother's health ♥
Gosh I just want to hug all three of you and make it better! Have to settle for prayers and well wishes : )
Good to hear that your Mom is doing so well. As for dear Mr. T, if the big collar is too hard for him, you might try a muzzle. The collar wasn't enough for our guy because he was so long and could still reach his tail area. So we had to muzzle him, along with the collar.
Glad to hear your Mom is doing much better. What a strong lady!
Mr T' meds...slide the tablet between his gum and teeth all the way to the jawline. Keep your hand uder his chin and stroke his throat (with his nose pointing up) till he swallows. A vet taught us that. If he gets it on his tounge he can spit it out..jut a few stroke should do it. I always show him a treat first, give the meds then the treat. He now associates meds with a treat and not so much of a fight to get it down. Not trying to be a know it all but it's what works for us.
Your Mom is my new hero!! What more can I say.
Maybe this will make ya feel better http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/archives/40324
I agree your mom is amazing. She sound like the kind of woman who does not let things get her down. She deals with what is going on and then keeps going. I would love to be that kind of woman when I get to be older and more mature. :) HUG and lots of pets for Mr. T. I feel so bad for the little guy. He looks sad. He might have to take a clue from your mom and buck up and face today head on. :)
Hope you are in an area where you can lie in wait for those dogs and put them under where they belong.
What a brave Mom you have! I'll send up prayers that she and Mister T heal completely...and soon.
xoxo
