Valentine’s Day is soon approaching. Would you be my Valentine? I would love to send every one of you a special Valentine’s Day gift this year, however, being the Frugal Fraulein that I am, sending you all gifts would not be a frugal thing to do. So I decided to have a give-a-way contest.
Follow the simple contest rules below and the winner will receive one of my new handmade fabric flower brooch creations.
- Become a Follower of Frugal Canning. See the Follower link on the left hand side of the blog.
- Send a Comment and tell me what you love (this is Valentine’s Day after all) about the Frugal Canning blog.
One lucky winner will be chosen and sent this fun Frugalista flower brooch.
I have a collection of these brooches that I made and am planning on offering them through Etsy. Before I open my internet store, they are available for a low price which includes shipping and handling. What a deal! Compare prices on Etsy and Ebay. These brooches are the rage right now and so versatile to use.
Each piece is a uniquely designed handmade brooch from constructed from a combination of felt, felted wool, fabric or vintage fabric completely hand stitched. Washing is not recommended. Blanket stitching around the edges provides a lovely finished look complete with felt backing and easy to use pin closure.
The pictures do not do justice to show how pretty they are and how nice they look on a blazer, jean jacket, sweater or apron or attached to a headband, hat or handbag. They would make great Valentine's Day gifts and remember Mother's Day is soon approaching.
